Good luck Claar!

Claar, our graphic designer is leaving us, we've organized a farewell drink for the occasion. 

We wish her good luck and hope to see her very soon!

Last week, we had our oona team meeting. After the harder, deeper and faster objectives for the upcoming year we all had a well deserved drink and a gift from the oona Amsterdam team.

Later on we met in the city center for a fun activity! The team had a great evening at the Josephine restaurant.

oona protuctions presents: a crappy christmas!

s.Oliver Xmas party!

s.Oliver was a little early this year celebrating Xmas! Three bloggers - Debbie, Afrodite & Hanne - got the chance to throw a Xmas party for their fans in the s.Oliver store in Antwerp. 
They invited their readers for some late night shopping, food and drinks - Xmas cupcakes included - in a Xmas setting!


As the first snow of the winter fell down on the streets of Antwerp.. guests got cosy inside the s.Oliver store with cava and finger food. 


Everyone could shop their heart out with a 25 euro voucher and on top of that a 25% discount! The bloggers gave their readers some super styling advice and make-up artists were present to complete their Christmas look!


As cherry on the cake a Xmas tombola brought this merry evening to an end where one lucky reader won a night sleep in the modern Pantone hotel in Brussels!

oona Amsterdam is having a winter snooze

Dear oona NL friends,

Today is the LAST day of 2011 to visit the Amsterdam showroom. Hop in today if you need one of our Brilliant brands, need a hug or a X-Mas carol! 

Tomorrow oona is checking out for a little winter snooze! We will be back at the office 02-01-12 and hope to see you then!

Les Tartes de Françoise in Antwerp

After a successful story in Brussels and Ghent, it was now the time for Antwerp to taste this delicious dish.Yesterday, Les Tartes de Françoise officially opened their atelier in Antwerp. 

The guests had the chance to taste a wide variety of fresh pies and quiches made with fruits and vegetables of the season.

Goodbye Glam*It @ Essentiel

Last night we said goodbye to the Glam*It crew... Essentiel was the location for their last Fashionably Late party. We could all use some sugar, colorful fashion and cocktails to drink the tears away.

We will miss you Glam*It girls, that's for sure, but we're looking forward to your new adventures!

HDGRN capsule collection

Last week ancient backpack brand Hedgren gave a preview of their new capsule collection with Tony Spackman, who previously designed for Nike and is now working on his own conceptual collection 'The Non'. 

Tony was inspired by the new creative nomads, who travel a lot and need some fashionable comfort when they're running in and out of airports and offices. The result is an edgy, but still fashionable & functional inner & outer bag concept. 

The preview took place in the apartment of Gory "Kissinger" Willems, a creative nomad himself. The launch of the bags was accompanied by an expo of famous fashion backstage photographer Sonny Vandevelde.

The 4th annual Vans Off The Wall Music Night tour arrives in Antwerp on 16th December an unforgettable night.

Mariachi El Bronx, the alter ego of acclaimed Los Angeles-based punk outfit The Bronx, will take the helm and play at Trix for the 2011 Vans Off the Wall Music Night.

Each year the Vans Off the Wall Night takes place in major cities across Europe and in the past, has seen performances by killer bands including the likes of Anti Flag, The Swellers, Funeral for a Friend, Fightstar and Kids in Glass Houses to name a few.

Vans has long strived to support self-expression, be it on a board a bike, with a paintbrush or with a guitar…. A history of collaborations is just one indication of the long running affiliation Vans has with music. Bands such as Pearl Jam, Iron Maiden, Rise Against, The Descendents, Kiss, Social Distortion, Dropkick Murphys, Mastodon, No Doubt and Millencolin – to name a few - have all put their name and design to a Vans shoe in the past.

Yesterday it rumbled in Twitterland

A bunch of dedicated fashion bloggers found their way to the first edition of The Blog Works. In the inspirational cultural atmosphere of De Singel, Antwerp, bloggers were presented with a wide range of lectures and workshops. This event did not go unnoticed online, for all of the enthousiasts gave us a beautiful #TBW11-feed. Here's a first impression of the day.
